Meet the Doctors and Staff

Dr. Robert T. Bacon

Dr. Bob BaconDr. Robert Bacon received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2003 from the prestigious Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in athletic training, from Washington State University in 1999.

Originally from Puyallup, Washington, Dr. Bacon has practiced in the Marietta area since receiving his doctorate degree. In his practice, he strives to help as many families as possible to be and stay well naturally.  Dr. Bacon consistently educates his clients on how to live a life full of energy, vitality, and exceptional health, without sickness and disease. He is committed to providing a loving, compassionate, and supportive environment, which helps his clients not only regain their health and vitality, but to maintain it once achieved. The practice is unique from other chiropractic offices, in that he embraces a total wellness philosophy, incorporating both body and mind functioning optimally in a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.

Dr. Bacon’s expertise with his chiropractic adjustments lies in what he terms his “global assessment.”  For each client, he performs a functional, neurological check of the neck, spine, and extremities (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, etc.).  Neurological function or weakness is a telling sign of the need for an adjustment to the affected joint.  In this way, Dr. Bacon has a gift for finding the cause of pain/dysfunction or limited range of motion very quickly and accurately.  With each adjustment, Dr. Bacon demonstrates and explains to the client the improvements to strength and range of motion, ensuring a level of understanding of why the client feels so good following each visit.

Dr. Bacon has received extensive training in Clinical Nutrition, i.e. the use of concentrated foods and herbs to support the body’s critical systems.  His post-graduate continuing education has focused largely on functionally identifying the needs for certain whole-food nutrients and how they relate to the performance of the human organism as a whole.  Using holistic methods, such as Systems Strength Analysis, blood work, saliva testing, and hair analysis, Dr. Bacon identifies and explains to each client the patterns of dysfunction that may be seen, and how these patterns relate to the foods often consumed (or neglected) by the client.  Dr. Bacon is well-versed in a wide range of nutritional supplements that he has found to give profound results by filling the gaps within the typical modern diet.

Dr. Bacon has expanded his training to include Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), a method of tapping into energetic weaknesses caused by emotional memories within the limbic system.  Through a focused session of tracing the body’s responses to verbal or physical suggestions, he can assist the body in releasing negatively stored energy that may be limiting optimal function.

Our Purpose:

To optimize the human potential through chiropractic care and nutrition.

Our Mission:

To elevate the degree in which individuals and families in our community express their innate potential, while providing guidance, education and the tools to live an active and balanced lifestyle.

Meet Our Staff

Claire BaconClaire N. Bacon, CNC

To empower my community with knowledge to lead a healthy lifestyle, using natural solutions that promote longevity and vitality, while avoiding deficiency and toxicity in our daily lives.

Over the past 10 years, I have found a passion and second career in the field of nutritional consulting.  As a health-conscious individual and triathlete, I have always paid attention to a healthy diet and regular exercise, but it wasn’t until my total immersion in the chiropractic lifestyle that I learned of the false marketing claims and downright lies perpetuated by the food industry.  I learned that the mainstream information I had followed in earnest trying to be healthy was all wrong.  Further, by attending many chiropractic seminars alongside my husband, I learned that many of the common, chronic diseases plaguing Americans can be overcome through the use of concentrated nutritional supplements.  Personally, I have experienced profound changes in my own adrenal fatigue, hypoglycemia, acne, leaky gut syndrome, and dysmenorrhea, by supplementing with the foods, herbs and glandular nutrients that have never (or not consistently) been on my plate.

In the role of Patient Educator, I provide support services in our chiropractic and nutritional practice.  I feel so fortunate to have seen and personally helped many patients find the answers they have been looking for their whole lives.  Whether it be chronic hormonal dysfunction, weak digestion and liver function, or yeast and fungal overgrowth, there are a multitude of options available from the holistic community that unfortunately are not well known, but nonetheless, are amazingly effective in resolving these conditions. For the last five years, it has been my great pleasure to lead our practice in group 21-Day Purification Cleanses, as well as 10-Day Blood Sugar Cleanses.  I love my role in getting supplement information and deeper understanding into our clients' hands.  Through our personalized nutrition assessments and with our small group workshops, I seek to inspire our clients in ways to make healthier choices through reading ingredient labels, choosing or making non-toxic personal care products, and cooking nourishing meals at home.

Genell Paine, Holistic Health Practitioner

For nearly 20 years, I have been working in the wellness industry. My journey started as a licensed Massage Therapist and certified Reiki Master, working along side health professionals and in spa environments. Over time, I began to understand the importance of colon health and focused my studies to become a Certified Hydro-Colon Therapist. My practice thrived, offering hydro-colon therapy and therapeutic massage to my clients.

Through the course of the next decade, I took my education further by learning Cupping, Bamboo Massage, Himalayan Salt Stone Massage and Lymphatic Drainage as well as receiving certifications in Myopracitc Massage and NMT Masssage.

After many years in a successful private practice, I recognized that the key component to maintaining health is the mind, and recently shifted my focus to hypnotherapy. I became certified as a Consulting Hypnotist through The National Guild of Hypnotists, the oldest national organization of hypnotists in the US.

My passion for whole body and mind wellness drives me to provide exceptional care and service through my hands-on and energy techniques accompanied with my nutritional and naturopathic knowledge for better whole body well-being.
